2015 has been a very busy year. Our CNC laser cutting service doesn’t just stop at shop fittings, taking advantage of our 6kW and 4kW flat bed lasers, we’re also able to help laser cut a number of point-of-sale material including promotional and branding such as shop fronts, signs and other small pieces. We’ve Achieved BS EN 1090-1 Certification for CE Marked Structural Steel. This is applied to more than the primary products used within construction, such as structural beams, but also to any fabricated elements made from CE Marked products.
Multi-axis 3D lasers have helped many of our clients reduce labour time, lower costs and increase efficiency, this is achieved in two ways: Firstly due to the precision cuts provided by the lasers, to a standard unachievable by manual processes, and secondly, the laser cutting process can cut the metal without applying mechanical force, meaning there is no warping or material deformation. Improving the product fit and appearance and reducing the chance of rejected parts. We were recently commissioned by Café Bar Artesão in Portugal to laser cut a shop front sign as well as a number of smaller laser cut menu holders.
Our new brochure was launched to support our marketing strategy and communicate the benefits of The Laser Cutting Co to our customers. A significant investment project was implemented at The Laser Cutting Co. over the last month with new Server technology and in excess of 15 PC’s installed across the company. In addition a major software update was implemented to include the full suite of Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions, including Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in addition to our CAD/CAM Nesting software. Investing in your future is investing our future. Finally an investment in Solid Works 3D CAD software for improved project simulation, product data management, mechanical design reduction in quote generation and project fulfilment lead time was undertaken. The new Solidworks software system allows us to fast track your designs through to manufacturing.
