Our large-scale solar panel installation project is the latest development to encompass our clean energy initiative and covered both The Laser Cutting Co. and sister company Charles Day Steels with an incredible 1,346 solar panels.

Covering approximately 20,000 square feet of roofing across The Laser Cutting Co.’s state-of-the-art facilities, this latest development is a major step forward for the company and its 40-plus-year legacy. With one solar panel capable of producing 203kWp of power alone, we are extremely proud as an industrial business to be transitioning to solely clean, solar energy.
With installation currently underway, this large-scale installation project was devised by Sales and Business Development Director Charlie Day, and Operations Director James Day. It was imperative to both Charlie and James that The Laser Cutting Co.’s ethos for continuous improvement and investment was upheld; always reinvigorating and improving upon our specialist metal cutting and processing solutions for the benefit and simplicity of our customers.
